The Museum System of the Province of Rimini includes 33 museums, with a variety of subjects (archaeology, art, ethnography, spirituality, contemporary history). These museums also vary in size and organizational structure; among them are 23 public and 10 private ones. These museums, which spread throughout the country, from the coast to Valconca and Valmarecchia, have over 300,000 visitors each year.

In addition to the Archaeological Museum of Verucchio, the Museum of the City of Rimini and the Surgeon’s House, the finest museums of international importance, this system aggregates also medium and small museums in a unique architectural and landscape context. The Museum System of the Province of Rimini coordinates the promotional activities of participating museums through publishing, organization of promotional activities and support for educational activities.
